Attention Sleuths! Mystery Weekend is February 22 & 23, 2025
Mystery Weekend is where amateur detectives (you) scour the seaside village of Langley for clues, question an odd group of characters, and try to solve a murder. It’s all in good fictional fun, and the clues keep everyone guessing, laughing, eating, and shopping throughout this two-day event.
This year’s the theme is “Murder in a Small Town.” The story revisits characters from past mysteries, resolving loose ends like the 49ers men’s gambling group’s disbandment and a beloved character’s death. A subplot features the Geaherdelli estate’s sale (from 2006’s Death by Chocolate) for affordable housing.
Parade (Saturday, February 22, at noon):
A group of Langley citizens formed a Survivors Club to mark 40 years of annual murders, planning a celebratory parade on Saturday, February 22, at noon.
Mystery Weekend tickets include a program with cast photos, a clue map, the Langley Gazette, and a story summary.

$16 for adults 16-64
$12 if age 65+, military, or youth under 16

Or purchase a Langley Mystery Weekend program at the Visitor Information Center, 208 Anthes Avenue, Langley, on February 22 or 23. The office opens at 9 a.m. Saturday for Will Call and 10 a.m. on both days for the general public.
Big Reveal:
The mystery will be revealed Sunday at 5 p.m. in the Whidbey Children’s Theatre auditorium (723 Camano Ave, Langley, WA 98260).
