The neighborhood is a great place for acreage located away from the highway corridor yet still enjoying easy access to the shopping and services in Oak Harbor. Several small farms are operating in the area and the neighborhood borders Silver Lake, which is one of the larger lakes within the confines of Whidbey Island.

Wildwood Farms, a prominent equestrian facility on Whidbey Island is located south of L and I Acres and adds to the area’s rural character. Even located away from the highway corridor, it is still easy to access, which puts Deception Pass State Park and getting off-island within easy reach. Recreation activities nearby include a public boat launch at Mariner’s Cove and Dugualla Bay State Park.
