Head to Deception Pass during weekdays to avoid the weekend crowds that visit Washington’s busiest state park. Several small farms have sprouted throughout the area in recent years and the northern part of the island has several equestrian facilities. The Navy’s Seaplane Base is also conveniently located to Polnell Shores.
