With only two roads in and out of the neighborhood and a combination of waterfront views, forests and fields, Race Lagoon encapsulates the image of an island getaway.
"Race Lagoon is such an amazing place to live! Not only do we get to enjoy spectacular views but we have space to enjoy everything that Whidbey island and the PNW has to offer!"
~Sara
Centered around a 30-acre, open-water lagoon, the Race Lagoon neighborhood contains a diverse selection of properties ranging in size from 2 acres to 13 acres that could feature meadows, forests, or shoreline with views of Saratoga Passage and the Cascade Mountains. Race Lagoon is located southeast of Coupeville almost midpoint between the historic town and the Greenbank Farm. The Navy’s Outlying Field is nearby, which is a training facility where jet pilots conduct touch-and-go landings. The Navy takes efforts to inform neighbors when training exercises are scheduled. Ebey’s Landing National Historical Reserve, and its outdoor and recreational opportunities, is located west of Race Lagoon. The Reserve is also home to Fort Casey State Park. Next door to the popular park is the ferry sailing from Keystone Harbor to Port Townsend. Greenbank, Freeland, Langley and Clinton are south of Race Lagoon as well as a ferry connection to the mainland.
